Time Bokan is a classic Japanese anime science-fiction comedy series created by Tatsuo Yoshida and produced by Tatsunoko Production. The story follows the brilliant and eccentric Dr. Kieta, who invents a time machine called the 'Time Bokan'. During its test run, he goes missing in time, prompting his young assistant Tanpei, his classmate Junko, and their pet robot Perasuke to embark on a rescue mission across various historical and prehistoric eras. Along their journey, the youthful heroes constantly cross paths with the flamboyant and comical villain trio known as the Akudama (led by the glamorous yet unlucky Majo, alongside her bumbling henchmen Grocky and Suzukki). The villains are also searching for the Dynameth, the world's most valuable energy source, leading to epic slapstick chases, mecha battles, and comedic rivalries across time and space.
