Times of Bottled Romance

Set against the backdrop of a rapidly modernizing coastal city, 'Times of Bottled Romance' follows the bittersweet journey of Lin Xiaoxi, a talented antique restorer who buries her emotions after a heartbreaking loss, and Gu Yichen, a meticulous perfumer whose creations are designed to evoke long-lost memories. When their paths cross at a heritage restoration project, Gu Yichen discovers that one of Lin Xiaoxi's vintage glass bottles holds the exact scent of his childhood trauma and first love. As they work together to preserve historical artifacts, they begin unearthing secrets from the past that challenge their understanding of fate, forgiveness, and romantic vulnerability. The narrative intricately weaves dual timelines, contrasting the nostalgic warmth of the 1990s with the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of contemporary urban life. Major conflicts arise from corporate interference threatening the heritage district where Xiaoxi's workshop is located, as well as lingering misunderstandings from a shared high school past. Through moments of emotional resonance, sensory storytelling, and gradual healing, the characters learn that while time cannot be bottled forever, genuine love can leave an enduring imprint on the soul.
