Titanic

Set against the backdrop of the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic in April 1912, this dramatic miniseries, penned by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, reimagines the maritime catastrophe through a tapestry of interwoven lives. Rather than following a conventional linear timeline, the narrative explores the passenger hierarchy across multiple classes, detailing the hopes, prejudices, social tensions, and romances that define life aboard the world's most luxurious ocean liner. From the aristocratic drawing rooms of first class—inhabited by the Earl of Manton and his family—to the strained middle-class quarters of lawyers and business hopefuls, and downward to the bustling steerage compartments filled with emigrants yearning for a new beginning in America, the series contrasts lavish privilege with gritty survival. Each perspective unfolds concurrently, capturing personal rivalries, class friction, and quiet acts of humanity before the catastrophic collision with an iceberg alters their destinies forever. As water breach compartments and chaos engulfs the ship, the illusion of social invulnerability shatters. The final desperate hours test moral courage, sacrifice, and cowardice across all social strata, offering a multifaceted tribute to the real and fictional lives caught up in one of the greatest maritime tragedies in modern history.
