
Tumbling follows the story of Wataru Azuma, a delinquent student at Karasumori High School who is forced to join the school's rhythmic gymnastics club as a form of punishment. Initially reluctant and surrounded by a group of misfits, Wataru finds himself gradually drawn into the intense world of men's rhythmic gymnastics. The series explores themes of friendship, personal growth, and the pursuit of excellence as the team strives to overcome their lack of experience and social stigma to compete at the national level. As the team faces internal conflicts, rigorous physical training, and rivalry with other schools, Wataru undergoes a significant transformation from a cynical loner into a dedicated athlete.
