Tvillingerne og Julemanden is a Danish Christmas television series that follows the story of twins Peter and Signe. When their mother, who is a researcher, takes them to the town of Øm, they stumble upon a centuries-old mystery involving the legendary Santa Claus and his wife, Julie. The children discover that the fate of Christmas itself is at risk due to a dark curse that has plagued the town for generations. As the twins delve deeper into the history of the area, they encounter various magical beings and historical figures, including the original Santa Claus. They must work together to break the curse and restore the spirit of Christmas before time runs out. The series blends elements of fantasy, history, and family drama, serving as a classic Danish 'Julekalender' (Christmas calendar series) that explores themes of courage, unity, and the importance of heritage.
