Based on Maurice Gee's classic children's fantasy novel, 'Under the Mountain' follows telepathic twins Rachel and Theo Matheson as they visit their aunt and uncle in Auckland, New Zealand. They soon discover that strange, slug-like alien creatures known as the Wilberforces are living beneath the volcanic peaks of Mount Eden and Rangitoto. Guided by the mysterious Mr. Jones, the twins must harness their latent telepathic abilities to defeat the ancient evil before it consumes the Earth.
