Unfair

Unfair follows Natsumi Yukihira, a highly skilled but controversial detective in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Known for her cold demeanor and unconventional methods, she is often criticized by her peers for her willingness to break rules to solve cases. The series begins with a series of bizarre murders that seem to be linked to a cryptic novel, forcing Yukihira to confront her own traumatic past and the corruption within the police force. As the series progresses, Yukihira finds herself entangled in a web of conspiracies where the line between justice and vengeance blurs. She must navigate complex relationships with her colleagues, including her rookie partner Ando, while dealing with the personal toll of being a single mother in a high-stakes profession. The show is renowned for its dark tone, intricate plot twists, and the recurring theme that the justice system itself is inherently 'unfair'.
