Valor da Vida

Valor da Vida is a Portuguese telenovela created by Maria João Costa for TVI. The gripping plot begins when a man is found wandering half-naked and disoriented near a lake in Lebanon, holding a ring with a woman's name inscribed on it. He has no memory of who he is, yet discovers he is carrying a passport under the name Artur Bastos—a man who was officially declared dead twenty years prior. As Artur returns to Portugal to reclaim his identity, he finds that his miraculous resurrection upends the lives of his supposed family, including his grieving widow who has since remarried, and exposes deep-seated dark secrets, betrayal, and corporate conspiracies.
