Vortex

Set in Brest, France, in the year 2025, police investigator Ludovic 'Ludo' Beguin is grieving the loss of his wife, Mélanie, who died in a mysterious running accident on the beach 27 years earlier. While utilizing advanced virtual reality technology to reconstruct a recent crime scene at the exact same location, a temporal glitch occurs, opening a rift in time that connects him directly with Mélanie in 1998, just eleven days before her fatal incident. Realizing he has an extraordinary opportunity to save the love of his life, Ludo begins relaying clues and warnings across time to prevent Mélanie's death. However, manipulating past events sets off dangerous ripple effects in the present. Every alteration transforms his current life, jeopardizing his marriage to his present-day wife, Parvana, and the existence of their young son, Sam. As the clock ticks down in both timelines, Ludo is trapped in a devastating moral vortex. He must navigate a perilous hunt for a serial killer operating across nearly three decades while confronting the unbearable reality that saving his first love might completely erase his present family.
