War of Y is a Thai anthology drama series that pulls back the curtain on the competitive and often cutthroat world of the Boys' Love (BL) entertainment industry. Through multiple interconnected stories, the series explores the complex dynamics between actors, managers, and production companies, highlighting the pressures of maintaining a public image while navigating personal relationships and professional exploitation. The series is divided into several distinct arcs—New Ship, War of Managers, Y-Idol, and Wife—each focusing on different aspects of the industry's toxicity. From the manipulation of 'shipping' culture to the intense rivalry between talent agencies and the personal sacrifices actors must make to succeed, War of Y provides a cynical yet compelling look at the sacrifices required to survive in a business that prioritizes profit over the well-being of its stars.
