Welcome to Sweden

Welcome to Sweden is a comedy series that follows Bruce Evans, a successful New York celebrity accountant who falls in love with a Swedish woman named Emma. After a whirlwind romance, Bruce decides to leave his life in America behind to follow Emma to her home country, Sweden. He hopes to start a new life with her, but quickly realizes that adjusting to Swedish culture, language, and social norms is far more challenging than he anticipated. The series explores the comedic friction between Bruce's American sensibilities and the reserved, often quirky nature of his new Swedish family and friends. As he struggles to find work, learn the language, and navigate his relationship with Emma's eccentric parents, Bruce finds himself in a series of awkward and hilarious situations. The show serves as a lighthearted look at the immigrant experience, highlighting the universal difficulties of finding one's place in a foreign land.
