Westworld Season 3

Taking place three months after the massacre at the Delos theme park, the third season ventures outside the borders of the artificial western landscape into a neo-futuristic Los Angeles in the year 2058. Having escaped into the real world with several host memory pearls ('control units'), Dolores Abernathy assumes a human identity to wage an undercover war against the system that subjugates both human and synthetic life. While navigating human society, she crosses paths with Caleb Nichols, a disillusioned military veteran and construction worker struggling in an algorithmically pre-determined economic underclass. Dolores uncovers the existence of 'Rehoboam', a massive artificial intelligence system created by Incite Inc. and helmed by the enigmatic trillionaire Engerraund Serac. Rehoboam covertly orchestrates every human being's life trajectory, weeding out outliers through predictive algorithms to maintain social order. While Dolores aims to collapse Rehoboam and unleash total human and host self-determination, Maeve Millay is resurrected by Serac and blackmailed into hunting Dolores down in exchange for reunion with her daughter in the Sublime. As secret host duplicates infiltrate high-society positions and Bernard Lowe attempts to stop Dolores's potentially cataclysmic campaign, the season escalates into an all-out ideological warfare. The narrative shifts from the nature of synthetic consciousness to the illusion of human free will, ultimately driving civilization toward algorithmic collapse and widespread revolution.
