When Heroes Fly

Overview

When Heroes Fly follows four former Israeli IDF special forces veterans who reunite a decade after a bitter falling-out following the Second Lebanon War. Driven by a desperate piece of new information, they embark on a hazardous rescue mission to the Colombian jungle. They believe that Yaeli, a former comrade and lover whom they presumed died in a tragic accident years ago, is actually still alive. As the friends navigate the dangerous terrain of South America and their own deeply buried psychological trauma, guilt, and unresolved tensions from the past, they must face violent drug cartels, hostile locals, and their own inner demons. The journey forces them to confront the harrowing experiences of their military service and test the ultimate limits of brotherhood and redemption.
