White House Plumbers

White House Plumbers is a satirical political drama that tells the true story of how E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, two of Richard Nixon's own political saboteurs, accidentally toppled the presidency they were zealously trying to protect. The series chronicles the inner workings of the 'Plumbers,' a secret White House Special Investigations Unit tasked with stopping the leaking of classified information, and their subsequent involvement in the botched Watergate break-in. As the narrative unfolds, the series explores the absurdity and incompetence behind the operation, focusing on the personal lives and strained relationships of Hunt and Liddy. It highlights the chaotic chain of events that led to the downfall of the Nixon administration, blending historical drama with dark comedy to examine the hubris and paranoia that defined the era.
