Yai Kanlaya

Homnam, an optimistic and kind-hearted university graduate, lands a job as a costume assistant on a drama production set. Her ordinary life takes a supernatural turn when she encounters the lingering spirit of Kanlaya, a legendary and beloved actress whose mysterious death years ago was officially ruled a suicide. Kanlaya cannot move on to the afterlife because her soul remains bound to the earthly realm by unresolved sorrow, suspicion surrounding her untimely demise, and deep concern for her only son, Sawit. Sawit, now a reserved, wounded, and aloof dentist, grew up in the shadow of his mother's tragic scandal and carries intense emotional scars. Sensing a genuine and receptive heart, Kanlaya's ghost occasionally possesses Homnam's body and guides her actions in a desperate attempt to protect Sawit from hidden family malice and unravel the truth behind her death. As Homnam is thrust into Sawit's personal orbit, he is initially perplexed and frustrated by her eccentric shifts in behavior, which eerily mirror his late mother's mannerisms, culinary recipes, and affectionate gestures. Gradually, suspicion turns into comfort and profound affection as Sawit finds solace in Homnam's warmth and unwavering support. Together, they must navigate dark family secrets, avaricious relatives who conspired against Kanlaya, and the supernatural ties that brought them together, ultimately discovering whether their budding love can survive once the truth is brought to light and Kanlaya's spirit finds peace.
