Caleb McLaughlin is an American actor best known for his breakout role as Lucas Sinclair in the critically acclaimed Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things. Born and raised in Carmel, New York, McLaughlin began his early performance training at the Happy Arts Creative Centre and later studied at Harlem School of the Arts under Aubrey Lynch. He initially gained recognition on the stage, making his Broadway debut as Young Simba in the Disney theatrical production of The Lion King from 2012 to 2014.
