Lethal Weapon

Lethal Weapon is an action-comedy drama series based on the iconic film franchise of the same name. The story follows Martin Riggs, a former Navy SEAL turned detective who moves to Los Angeles to start over after the tragic death of his wife and unborn child. He is partnered with Roger Murtaugh, a veteran LAPD detective who has recently returned to the force following a near-fatal heart attack and is strictly focused on avoiding stress to protect his family. The series centers on the volatile partnership between the reckless, grief-stricken Riggs and the cautious, family-oriented Murtaugh. As they navigate the dangerous streets of Los Angeles, they must balance high-stakes criminal investigations with their clashing personalities and personal demons. The show explores themes of brotherhood, trauma, and redemption, all while maintaining the signature blend of explosive action and witty banter that defined the original movies.
