Our Flag Means Death (Season 2)

Following the tumultuous events of the first season, Season 2 of 'Our Flag Means Death' finds Stede Bonnet and his crew trying to piece their lives and pirate careers back together after being separated. Stede, deeply remorseful for abandoning Blackbeard, sets out on a journey to find him and prove himself as a true captain and romantic partner. Meanwhile, Edward Teach—now sinking deeper into his infamous, cruel 'Blackbeard' persona—has turned his ship into a floating house of horrors, alienating his loyal crew members and testing the limits of everyone around him. As the paths of the Revenge and Blackbeard's crew inevitably collide once more, the ensemble of eccentric pirates must navigate shifting loyalties, new arrivals, and the perils of the high seas. Themes of love, identity, found family, and redemption take center stage as the characters confront past traumas and fight for a future where they can truly be themselves, culminating in a poignant and emotionally resonant exploration of queer romance in the golden age of piracy.
