The Legend of Shen Li

The Legend of Shen Li follows Xing Zhi, the last remaining ancient god in the universe who has lived in solitude for thousands of years, and Shen Li, the fierce and powerful general of the Demon Realm. After escaping an unwanted political marriage, Shen Li is severely injured and falls to the mortal world in her phoenix form, where she is mistaken for a common chicken and sold in a market. She is eventually rescued by Xing Zhi, who is living in the mortal realm under the guise of a frail human. As their paths cross, a complex bond forms between the two. Shen Li must navigate her duties to the Demon Realm and the looming threat of war, while Xing Zhi struggles with his divine responsibilities and his growing feelings for the general. Their journey is one of sacrifice, duty, and love, as they face ancient forces that threaten the balance of the three realms.

A fated encounter between the last divine being and the powerful demon general.
